Watsichat allows you to connect your fan pages and Instagram accounts to create automated interactions using simple bots, independent from the WhatsApp environment.

How does it work?

You just need to connect Watsichat to your Facebook profile by following these steps:

  1. Log in to Watsichat and go to BOT META > Social Profiles META
  2. Click the Conectar con META button
  3. Log in with your Facebook account and select the Facebook pages and Instagram profiles you want to connect. Make sure to include the associated business portfolios
  4. Complete the process to finish the connection

What’s next?

Now you need to create a bot in BOT META > Welcome and complete the following fields:

  1. Título: A name to identify the bot
  2. Welcome message: The initial message that will be sent when a user interacts for the first time with your fan page or Instagram profile
  3. Department: Assign service departments so that your agents receive notifications about important events.
  4. Language: It is the default language with which the bot will respond.
  5. Status: Defines whether the bot is active (choose Active to enable it)

Bot setup

Go back to BOT META > Social Profiles META and continue with the configuration:

  1. Click Edit and select your bot in the Chat Bot field (you can choose any previously created bot)
  2. Save the changes

Once completed, your bot will automatically send a welcome message when a user starts a conversation on any of your connected profiles.

Advanced customization with Auto Responses

If you need more customization, you can use the Auto Responses option within the BOT META main menu.

This feature allows you to send automated replies triggered by specific messages.

Example: replying to "hi" with "hello, how are you?"

Setup:

  1. Fan Page: Select the profile where the auto response will apply
  2. Title: Internal name to identify the auto response
  3. Message to Reply: Exact text that will trigger the response (example: hi)
  4. Auto Response: Message the bot will send (example: hello, how are you?)
  5. Inbox: Defines whether it applies to private messages
  6. Comments: Defines whether it applies to comments

Once everything is ready, click Save Changes to activate the automation.

Important: Instagram accounts must be Professional and/or Creator accounts.

The Chats section displays conversations that have interacted with your social profiles through private messages. To reply to these messages, you must do so directly from Facebook and/or Instagram. From this section, you can only disable the chatbot to prevent it from interfering with the conversation flow while you respond manually.
